Places to Eat in Ubud…

Eating out in Bali is so cheap, in fact it seems to be cheaper then cooking a meal at home and the flavours are incredible.

Being a vegetarian and going abroad is sometimes very difficult, however Bali make it extremely easy and it is even possible to get delicious vegan food literally brought to your door step.

Here are some of the best places that we ate in Ubud:

Kafe

Kafe is a gorgeous little cafe in the centre of Ubud that you must go to at least once when you visit (we went twice in one day.) The food is fresh, organic and has so much flavour. They have great vegetarian and vegan options, everything is very health conscious and you can taste that it is made with love and knowledge.

At Kafe they are also very environmentally friendly and a great example of that is they have a no straw or bottle policy. There is so much going on at Kafe and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Sage

I can honestly say that Sage is the best vegan restaurant I have ever been to. We found this gorgeous cafe on our last day in Ubud, which is such a shame as I would’ve wanted to try everything on the menu.

The decor is lovely and so peaceful, it is just off of a main road but once to go inside you would have no idea. It is a little further out from the city of Ubud but definitely worth the drive.

Buddha Bowl

We absolutely loved buddha bowl, the menu is so exciting and there is a page specifically for vegetarians which makes menu reading so much easier.

I highly recommend the Tofu Pad Thai, probably the best pad thai I have ever eaten and I guarantee you will love it too! Buddha bowl is located in the centre of Ubud also, so there is no excuse not to try it!

Room 4 Dessert

If you are a real dessert lover then you will love this gorgeous little find. Room 4 dessert offers the best desserts that I have ever seen. The presentation is awesome and the taste is even better. It is a little more pricey then most restaurants in Bali but it is so worth it for the experience.

We sat in the garden and the atmosphere is just lovely and romantic. It is a must place to visit if you have a sweet tooth!
