Imad’s Syrian Kitchen…

Amazing food, amazing company!

Last night I finally had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Imad at his pop up Syrian kitchen in East London.

I have been following Imad’s journey for a while now and I have been desperate to pop a long for such a long time. I am so thrilled that I have finally been.

Imad is an incredible chef and refugee from Syria. Before the war he owned two restaurants in Damascus, but sadly they were destroyed. However, with Imad being such an incredible guy he didn’t let that stop him. So instead he has brought his restaurants to London.

There is such a fantastic atmosphere, you sit on a table next to strangers but they immediately become your new friends. With only 20 people at each sitting it is such a personal touch, and feels as though you are sat down with your family at Christmas.

Helping a good cause.

You are served a three course Syrian meal by amazing volunteers who have given up their time to help raise money for such a good cause.

Tickets are £40 which includes a £15 donation to Hope Hospital. Hope Hospital became the first ever crowdfunded hospital in early 2016, thanks to the support of groups like Help Refugees. It is the only children’s hospital in the Aleppo region, and the doctors working here serve a community of over 250,000 Syrian people.

Imad is only around until the end of September so make sure to get your tickets quickly as you don’t want to miss out.

I couldn’t recommend a better night out. It is such a magical and personal experience. You can see your food being cooked, everyone is so lovely and you are donating to an amazing cause whilst eating incredible food.

If you are unable to make it to Imad’s Syrian kitchen then you can still make a donation to Hope Hospital.

Imad, you are a legend. Thank you for everything you are doing to make this world a better place. I hope one day you can open a restaurant in London because I know it will be an incredible success. I hope our paths cross again soon.

Peace, Love & Light x
