Self compassion is giving the same kindness to ourselves that we would give to others.
Remember to take care of yourself.
Sometimes you get too busy taking care of others that you forget you are important too.
This is something I am working on.
I always find myself dishing out advice and being a shoulder to cry on for others, but when it comes to me needing advice I get too nervous to ask, as I don’t want to make it seem like I can’t take my own advice or that I am weak.
We all have times in our lives where we feel down, lost and confused… Make sure the people who you are spending so much time helping will be there to help you too.
You can’t help everyone unfortunately.
Taking care of yourself doesn’t mean me first, it means me too.
You can’t pour from an empty cup, so make sure you are strong too!
